Smith Buckley Architects designed a renovation to the Ben and Jerry's gift shop at the production facility in Waterbury, VT.  The design is based on a marketing scheme to give the gift shop the appearance of a dairy barn.  The monitor barn shape was selected in order to meet the challenges of creating a tall space within the existing building envelope while still providing ample space for MEP design.  Timber frames, interior finishes, light fixtures, and even custom shelving were designed to give the feel the client was seeking.
