Located at the Hood Plant, The Hood Freezer Apartments are part of a new building located on the footprint of H.P. Hood Inc.’s large freezer area and truck-loading stations. The first floor of The Freezer Building features a commercial rental suite showcasing raw concrete, exposed steel, eastern skylights, and a large west-facing glass wall. Above the commercial space, accessed from South Winooski Avenue, are four apartments. Two townhouse-style apartments are located on the entry level, featuring two bedrooms and lofted living spaces filled with an abundance of daylight. The top floor flats offer commanding views from the balconies and living spaces, over the adjacent buildings, of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains.
